about 1.25 inches in width	made using size 30 crochet thread

for the example shown above 3 rounds / rows of plain netting were done before the edge was started (width measurement does not include these rows)

INSTRUCTIONS

Round 1	Mesh stick: 3/8"
	Net 5 knots in one loop, net 1 knot in next loop; repeat.

Round: 2	Mesh stick: #3 kn
	Net 1 knot in each loop.

Round: 3	Mesh sticks: Top - #3 kn, Bottom - #2 kn
	Skip 1 loop, over both sticks net 1 knot in next loop, over #3 kn net 1 knot in each loop for 4 loops; repeat.

Round: 4	Mesh sticks: Top - #3 kn, Bottom - #3 kn
	Skip 1 loop, over both sticks net 1 knot in one loop, over #3 kn net 1 knot in each loop for 3 loops; repeat.

Round: 5	Mesh sticks: Top - #3 kn, Bottom - #4 kn
	Skip 1 loop, over both sticks net 1 knot in one loop, over #3 kn net 1 knot in each loop for 2 loops; repeat.

Round: 6	Mesh sticks: Top - #3 kn, Bottom - #7 kn
	Skip large loop, over all sticks net 1 knot in one loop, over #3 kn net 1 knot in 1 loop; repeat.
