made using size 30 crochet thread

2 rounds / rows of plain netting were done before the edge was started
(width measurement does not include these rows)


INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the loose thread that is used in tying the CK. No CK will be tied in remaining rows. Each point is finished before starting the next point.


Row 1
Mesh stick: #3 kn

Net 1 knot in each of the next 5 loops (total 6 knots on mesh stick, 5 loops formed). Remove stick and turn netting over.


Row 2
Mesh stick: #3 kn

Going into last loop netted, net 1 knot in each loop for 3 loops, net last 2 loops together. Remove stick and turn netting over.


Row 3
Mesh stick: #3 kn

Going into last loop netted, net 1 knot in each loop for 2 loops, net last 2 loops together. Remove stick and turn netting over.


Row 4
Mesh stick: #3 kn

Going into last loop netted, net 1 knot in 1 loop, net last 2 loops together. Remove stick and turn netting over.


Row 5
Mesh stick: #3 kn

Without mesh stick net 2 loops together to form point.




TO MAKE NEXT POINT:

Cut thread. Attach netting needle to doily by tying the thread to the first free loop on last round in doily (round just before 1st row of point began) to the right of the point just formed.

OR

Put netting needle through the loops on the right side of the point, winding down the point. Tie thread to first free loop on last round in doily (round just before 1st row of point began) to the right on the point just formed


THEN

Repeat from 1st row in point to last row in point around the doily.
