1. Crochet thread that is strong enough to be pulled on and not break -- comparable to whatever thread or string is being used for the netting.
2. A 5 to 8 mm bead, or whatever size will be large enough to NOT slip through the grommet.
NOTE: If you find that the anchor bead you are using is too small, remove it from the center of the grommet, make another anchor using a larger bead and replace the anchor into the center of the grommet

| 1. | Cut piece of threat about 12 inches long. | ||

2. | Fold thread in half (now 6 inches long). | |
| 3. | Put small crochet hook or needle threader through hole in small bead and through loop formed by folding thread. | ![]() |

4. | Pull loop formed by folding thread through the bead. | |
| 5. | Remove hook or threader from loop. | ![]() |

6. | Put both loose ends through loop. | |
| 7. | Hold firmly to the bead, and pull the loop tight around the bead. | ![]() |

8. | Tie loose ends together with overhand knot. | |
