CIRCULAR NETTING (Continued)

Round 2:

1. Select the proper size mesh stick.

2. Hold the mesh stick so the collecting knot (CK) is resting on the top edge of the mesh stick.

3. The working thread from the netting needle is coming over the mesh stick.

4. The loose, dangling thread is under the mesh stick and out of the way to the left.

5. As you tie the first knot in the new round, do not go into the large foundation loop (as you did in round 1).

Go into the loop just to the right of the loop formed by the CK.

NOTE: For rounds 2 and 3 only (on the 1st knot in the round):
Just before you slip the thread off your little finger form the loops into a circle so that the knots in the center are touching.

Holding the center knots in that circle, finish tying the knot. This will help keep the loops in a circle.

6. The next knot is made by going into the loop to the right of the loop you just made a knot in. Continue in this manner unless the pattern instructions indicate otherwise.

7. Repeat step 10 until the round is completed. Then remove the mesh stick.

8. Be sure to end this round and all other rounds with a CK.

9. Repeat from step 5 until the doily is finished.
