Doilies

round, square, & rectangular

I named each doily for my convenience in referring to them.

The size of the thread I used will be noted on the individual doily's page; however, any size thread can be used, though it may change the size and the appearance of the doily.

Round doily patterns are listed alphabetically and by diameter. In addition, Grandmother's Legacy contains a list of doilies created by my grandmother, Esther Peterson Bott Freeman. From any list of doilies you can choose to view each doily (where picture is available) and basic information about the doily.

(s) following a doily name = small
(l) following a doily name = large

Square shaped doilies can be made from the center out by increasing at four evenly spaced points.

Rectangular shaped doilies or cloths can be made by joining several squares together.
